G Brown Design provided design-build landscape services to improve the landscape at this newly remodeled residence in the Salt Lake Valley. The new site and landscape design integrate the modern style of the remodel with the surrounding property to create a cohesive feel throughout the site. The design uses simple, durable materials and defined planting areas to organize the landscape around the home. Concrete retaining walls and raised planters help establish changes in grade, while concrete steppers and pathway lighting create a clear connection between the home and surrounding outdoor spaces. Lawn areas provide open space and contrast with the more structured planting areas.
